Overview

As an institution serving a large and diverse student body, Hopewell City Public School depends heavily on accurate student data, timely communication, and efficient administrative processes. The school already used PowerSchool as its primary Student Information System (SIS), but their website operated in isolation from this system.

Student and staff information had to be manually uploaded using CSV files, creating a slow, error-prone workflow. Over time, these CSV uploads stopped syncing correctly on the production server, leaving the website with outdated records that had not been updated since June 2024. This caused inconsistencies between internal systems and the public-facing website, leading to operational confusion and communication gaps.

In addition, the school required a professional web platform that staff could manage easily, without technical dependency, while also supporting reliable email communications for announcements, alerts, and notifications.

The goal was clear: build a modern school website that functions as a fully integrated digital operations platform.
